Construction Highlights

02/23/99 (Tuesday)

Segment 5 (Lynwood to Long Beach): Report for 2-23-99. Backfill of the bore pit progressed while crews conducted a general clean up of the job site for the Edison location. Meanwhile, crews backfilled, shaded pipe and completed several sections of fiber optic duct along the Huntway section. In addition, crews fabricated several tube turns, set and welded one joint and excavated a short section of trench. Within the Wilmington refinery, crews continued painting and backfilling the bore pit.
