The following is a brief summary of the environmental monitoring activities that were completed between 1:00 on 5/2/99 and 1:00 on 5/03/99. Spread 1

City of Long Beach

Spread 1 work in the City of Long Beach has been completed.

City of Paramount

No Spread 1 work occurred in the City of Paramount during the shift.

City of Bellflower

No work occurred in the City of Bellflower during the shift.

City of Cerritos

Variance request #8 was approved by the CPUC, allowing the applicant to work on Sunday May 2nd and Sunday May 9th at the San Gabriel River. The crew at the San Gabriel River replaced the augers and started pushing casing again after clearing the alignment of old casing. The crew pushed approximately 90 feet of 30-inch casing pipe during the shift. The bore is on the correct alignment laterally and within 1-foot vertically.
