The east section will be poured over two shifts to insure access for the fire station.

The crew at the Los Angeles River continued working on backfilling over the section of pipe between the 710 Freeway bore and the Los Angeles River bore and the bore pit. The pipelaying and welding crews completed setting and welding the final section in DeForest Park. The pipe was tied-into the valve on the east side of the bore. The paving crew completed the final section of asphalt on DeForest Avenue.
