CEQA Compliance
The CPUC is the lead agency under the California
Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and is responsible for
conducting the environmental review of the proposed project.
The CPUC determined that a Mitigated Negative Declaration was
needed to assess the potential impacts of the project.
Environmental Documents
The CPUC has prepared an Initial Study for the proposed project.
An Initial Study (IS) is a preliminary assessment of the
project’s potential impacts.

The CPUC has prepared a Mitigated Negative Declaration (MND)
for the proposed project. The
MND includes the Initial Study and a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting
Plan (Appendix F).
