  • March 30, 2010, 9 a.m.:  Workshop on California Solar Initiative (CSI) Thermal - Multifamily/Commercial SWH Program Handbook

This workshop will focus exclusively on the portion of the CSI-Thermal Program that will offer incentives to multi-family and commercial buildings installing Solar Water Heating (SWH).  The single-family portion of the handbook was addressed in a workshop on February 23, 2010.  The low-income and non-SWH portions of the program will be covered in later workshops.  Each section of the agenda will begin with a presentation on the relevant section of the Program Handbook, highlighting important areas of uncertainty that need to be resolved, followed by an opportunity for questions from the audience.  To help facilitate a robust and targeted discussion, Energy Division has distributed a draft Handbook that proposes solutions to some of the relevant implementation issues.  This draft Handbook should be considered a straw proposal intended to solicit feedback, rather than a final document.  In addition to soliciting input on the multi-family/commercial section of the Handbook, we will also address at this workshop the calculator that will be used for calculating incentives amounts.  Questions about the workshop should be directed to Damon Franz at (415) 703-2165 or df1@cpuc.ca.gov.

This workshop will be held at the Milton Marks Conference Center, San Diego Rooms A/B/C, 455 Golden Gate Avenue, San Francisco 94102.
