PUC TO HOLD HEARING ON
DIVERSITY ISSUES AFFECTING UTILITIES

SAN FRANCISCO, October 3, 2005 - The California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) will hold its third public hearing on diversity issues affecting regulated utilities.

WHAT: California's Workforce in 2015 - Will We Be Ready?

WHEN: Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

WHERE: State Capitol, Room 4203, Sacramento

The public is invited to participate in this one-day hearing to share assessments and views on this important issue, which has a vital significance for utilities, government, and communities. The Commission is interested in focusing on the common goal of encouraging California's investor-owned utilities, their customers, employees, and business partners to work together to benefit from California's diverse and growing population.
