PUC TO HOLD HEARING ON
DIVERSITY ISSUES AFFECTING UTILITIES
SAN FRANCISCO, October 3, 2005 - The California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) will hold its third public hearing on diversity issues affecting regulated utilities.
The public is invited to participate in this one-day hearing to share assessments and views on this important issue, which has a vital significance for utilities, government, and communities. The Commission is interested in focusing on the common goal of encouraging California's investor-owned utilities, their customers, employees, and business partners to work together to benefit from California's diverse and growing population.
More information, including an agenda and possible remote access information, will be forthcoming and posted to our website at www.cpuc.ca.gov and on the California Utility Diversity Council's website at www.cudc.biz.
If special arrangements are needed, such as sign and language interpreters, please contact the PUC Public Advisor's Office at 1-866-849-8390 or 1-415-703-2074, or by e-mail at public.advisor@cpuc.ca.gov at least three days prior to the event.
