OVERVIEW
This 7th Round Data Request and the instructions contained therein is the method by which CPUC intends to collect broadband information on behalf of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA):
Pursuant to the NTIA's State Broadband Data and Development (SBDD) Grant Program, the CPUC must collect certain data regarding the availability of broadband services, the technology used to provide them and the location of certain broadband infrastructure for all broadband providers in California. This program is funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA). Please take note of the following data request schedule:

Who should submit data?
- facilities-based providers only (Not pure resellers)
- providers with broadband speeds > 768/200 Kbps
- must be able to provision new requests for broadband services within 10 days of a request
Where and How to submit the data?
- via email (3 MB or less only): broadbandmapping@cpuc.ca.gov
- via ftp: send us an email and we will provide you with a secure FTP link
- via CD/DVD: California Public Utilities Commission
