The CPUC celebrated National Telephone Discount LifeLine Awareness Week September 9-15, 2013, by participating in a number of events to promote the California LifeLine Program and the federal Lifeline program.
National Telephone Discount LifeLine Awareness Week is a national campaign to encourage qualified consumers to take advantage of programs that provide discounted home or cellular phone service for qualified consumers. California LifeLine participants can have unlimited local calls (landline) for less than $7 a month.
