Commission Issues Study of High-Speed Internet Subsidies

The California Legislature in Senate Bill 1712 directed the California Public Utilities Commission (Commission) to consider whether California should expand its low-income subsidy program and require all carriers to provide high-speed Internet access in their "basic service" package.
