Description: Energy and Environmental Economics, Inc. (E3) was the successful bidder on the CPUC GHG Modeling RFP: Modeling of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reduction Strategies and Load-Based Cap Options in the California Electricity Sector (No. 06-PS-5646), copy posted on E3's website. The contract was signed at the end of June 2007 and E3 commenced work on the project in July. The objective of this meeting is to explain the context for this work, present the proposed modeling approach, and allow parties the opportunity to ask questions and provide preliminary input.
Anticipated Attendees: Parties in R.06-04-009 interested in GHG modeling issues. Parties active in Energy Efficiency (EE), Distributed Generation (DG), and/or Demand Response (DR), or other related issues are welcome to attend. CPUC GHG Team; Energy Division staff working on relevant issue areas (EE, DR, DG); California Energy Commission (CEC) and Air Resources Board (ARB) staff; and CPUC advisors and interested managers and supervisors.
