March 4, 2004: The parties in the Civil Case #CGC03422959 stipulate to a final judgment that was filed with the Court. The terms and conditions are that K&T / KW will pay the Commission $4,500 in fines and penalties and $9,500 in cost of investigation. At its April 1, 2004 meeting, the Commission issued I.04-04-002 instituting an investigation and Order to Show Cause why K&T / KW's application should not be denied with prejudence.
On August 26, 2003, a preliminary injunction was issued enjoining all the defendants from operating a moving business without a valid household goods permit issued by the Commission.
