The California Public Utilities Commission conducted a surprise inspection of passenger carriers at the Los Angeles International Airport on July 19, 2006.
The PUC inspected 135 limos and shuttles. Of those, 46 recieved notice to correct for various violations and five were issued misdeameanor warnings, which included the impounding of one vehile that was operating on a revoked permit.
