Charlyn A. Hook is Commissioner Ferron's Legal Advisor. Charlyn has been an attorney at the CPUC since October 2000. During her time in the CPUC's Legal Division she handled a wide variety of assignments, including representing the CPUC at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and the California Independent System Operator; representing the CPUC's Division of Ratepayer Advocates in electricity procurement, resource adequacy, and other energy and water proceedings; and litigating and advising on multiple consumer protection, safety, and appellate matters. Charlyn holds her J.D. from the University of San Francisco and did her undergraduate work at San Diego State University.
