Michael Colvin is one of Commissioner Ferron's advisors. Michael joined the Commission in 2008. He spent his first three years in the Policy and Planning Division working on our electric energy storage proceeding, Combined Heat and Power/Qualifying Issues, water/energy nexus, and is on the GHG Team. Before joining the CPUC, Michael received his M.P.P. from the Goldman School of Public Policy at UC Berkeley. There, he did research on the economics of innovation in the energy sector, with a focus on distributed generation and pollution control technologies. Michael also holds a B.S. in Environmental Economics from UC Berkeley.
