Charlotte TerKeurst is Commissioner Ferron's Chief of Staff. Charlotte has been an Assistant Chief ALJ for three years, and previously was an ALJ, on technical staff, and an advisor during the first Jerry Brown administration. She has worked primarily in energy and telecom, and has supervised ALJ work on water matters. Charlotte took a break from the CPUC in the 90s; she headed the Telecommunications Division at the Illinois commission and also consulted in telecom before returning here in 2002. She holds a B.S. in mathematics from the U. of Mississippi and a M.S. in electrical engineering from the U. of Illinois.
