Niki Bawa is most recently an attorney in the CPUC’s Legal Division, handling communications matters. Prior to moving to the CPUC to fulfill his long-term goal of serving the public interest, Niki worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLC in the International Tax division. While at the CPUC, Niki has developed his knowledge and experience of the CPUC’s numerous regulatory roles by working as an analyst in Energy Division and the Electricity Planning and Policy Branch of the CPUC’s Division of Ratepayer Advocates. Niki holds a B.A. in Economics, Telecommunications, and Policy Science from Indiana University and a J.D. with a concentration in Tax from UC Hastings. In his spare time Niki likes to travel, hike, cycle, and catch up on sleep.
