Amy Baker joined the CPUC’s Energy Division in 2007. She worked on the Renewables Portfolio Standard, analyzing the progress of the program and acting as the lead on compliance. In 2011, she started in the Infrastructure Permitting & CEQA section, focusing on mitigation monitoring for construction of large electric infrastructure. Prior to working at the CPUC, Amy interned at the Pacific Institute – a think tank in Oakland that focuses on water and climate change policy. For several years, she was a freelance web designer in Sacramento. She has a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley, with a minor in Scandinavian Studies.
