Water Advisor to Commissioner Bohn
Laura Krannawitter is Commissioner Bohn’s Water Advisor. Mrs. Krannawitter manages water cases and advances the Commissioner Bohn’s water policy vision as enumerated in the Water Action Plan. Ms. Krannawitter brings with her a breadth of experience in Commission practices and a commitment to public service.
Ms. Krannawitter has worked at the California Public Utilities Commission since 1987. She holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. She is a licensed engineer with the state of California (M27421.)
Ms. Krannawitter came from the Office of Ratepayer Advocates where, over the course of her tenure, has spent a combined eight years advocating for ratepayers on a variety of electricity and gas matters. Ms. Krannawitter also enjoyed working for seven years in the Advisory Divisions of CACD and Energy Division.
Ms. Krannawitter also worked for former Commissioner Henry Duque during the energy crisis era, and then went on to help former Commissioner Susan Kennedy before she hired her permanent staff.
