Mr. Campbell was a member of the Commission's Division of Strategic Planning prior to joining Commissioner Chong's staff. Previously, he worked for three years as an investment banker in Salomon Smith Barney's Global Energy group in New York, where he advised energy companies in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance. Prior to that, Mr. Campbell worked for ExxonMobil for two and a half years in Houston as a reservoir engineer overseeing several oil and gas fields. Mr. Campbell also served as a graduate intern on the U.S. Senate's Energy and Natural Resources Committee. Mr. Campbell holds a Masters degree in Public Policy from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, and a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering and a B.A. degree in Economics from Rice University.
