Jason Reiger has served as Commissioner Ryan’s Legal Advisor since April 2010.
Since joining the CPUC in 2001, Mr. Reiger has worked on energy, water, natural gas, and communications issues. Mr. Reiger has also been involved in various initiatives the CPUC has taken to promote California’s future of green energy and lower greenhouse gas emissions.
Prior to joining Commission Ryan’s staff, Mr. Reiger was a CPUC Advisory Attorney specializing in CEQA matters. During this time, he worked on a number of large renewable energy transmission line applications. Mr. Reiger has also represented the CPUC’s Division of Ratepayer Advocates in water general rate cases and has assisted the Division of Water and Audits in various water maters.
Mr. Reiger has a B.A. in Political Science from San Francisco State University and a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School.
