CPUC Gears Up for Summer 2005 to Address Potential Supply Constraint in Southern CA
The CPUC Approved a $57 million increase in energy efficiency funding for Southern California Edison to generate a reduction in energy demand of at least 193 GWh and 40 MW during peak energy usage hours.
Southern California Edison will expand residential point-of-sale rebates to reduce energy demand during peak energy usage hours (refrigerators, pool pumps, air conditioners, whole house fans).
Southern California Edison will increase funding for appliance recycling, small business direct install lighting and large non-residential programs/
