Proposed Resolution ST-169

The Safety and Enforcement Division of the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) has prepared proposed Resolution ST-169.

It will be on the October 2, 2014, Commission meeting agenda.  It authorizes the CPUC Executive Director, or his/her designee, to take any actions necessary to enter into an agreement with the United States Department of Transportation Federal Transit Administration for Fixed Guideway Public Transportation State Safety Oversight Formula Grant Fund program funding (authorized by United States Code Title 49, Chapter 53).

The Commission may act on this resolution or it may postpone action until later. When the Commission acts on a proposed resolution, the Commission may adopt all or part of the proposed resolution, as written, or amend or modify the proposed resolution; or the Commission may set the proposed resolution aside and prepare a different resolution. Only when the Commission acts does the resolution become binding. 

Interested parties may submit comments on the proposed Resolution ST-169.  Comments must be served on all parties on the service list for Resolution ST-169 .  They may be served electronically or in writing on or before September 29, 2014.

Comments shall be limited to 5 pages in length and must focus on factual, legal or technical errors in the proposed resolution.  Late submitted or Reply Comments will not be considered.
