On October 27, 2003, The California Public Utilities Commission (PUC) announced that after a PUC staff investigation, the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office and the Attorney General's Office jointly filed criminal charges on Oct. 7, 2003, against Warner Lee Fischer and Philip Edward Dresser, Jr., president and vice president respectively, of Pacific Coast Moving and Storage, Inc., an unlicensed household goods mover based in Granada Hills, CA.
Update: The Temporary Restraining Order as granted on Nov. 5, 2003. A hearing was held on Nov. 26, 2003, in the Los Angeles Superior Court, in which the PUC was granted the Preliminary Injunction. [ View News Release issued December 19, 2003 ]
