Expos On Small Business Opportunities Subscribe To RSS Feeds For the Small Business Expos Page

Thank you for your interest in the California Public Utilities Commission's Small Business Expos!  The objectives of the Commission's Small Business Expos are to:

  • Help connect small businesses to utilities' procurement specialists
  • Educate on the benefits of becoming certified as a woman-owned, minority-owned, and/or disabled veteran-owned business
  • Inform small businesses of utilities' best business practices and "how to get in the door" with utility companies   
  • Inform small businesses of utilities' contract opportunities
  • Provide networking with other small business owners.

The CPUC's series of expos debuted in 2006.   They continue to be driven by PUC Commissioner John A. Bohn.

The PUC is building on the success of its previous Expos and plans to schedule more in the future.
