GIS Data and Broadband Maps

Data as of December 31, 2018*

The following information has been submitted to the Broadband Mapping Program by broadband providers across California, using data formats from the Guidelines for Broadband Data Submission website.

The Fixed Wireless and Wireline maps and downloadable GIS data show broadband deployment and speeds as submitted by broadband providers and has been validated by the CPUC. The Mobile broadband data and maps both represent coverage submitted by broadband providers as well as speeds from CPUC mobile broadband fields tests of AT&T Mobility, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless.

California Interactive Broadband Map

The California broadband data can also be viewed by using the California Interactive Broadband Map. This interactive map is used to view eligibility for the California Advanced Services Fund (CASF). Areas where broadband service is not available may be eligible for a CASF grant to deploy network facilities.

California Community Anchor Institutions

The Community Anchor Institution files are a compilation of schools, libraries, health institutions, and public safety facilities in California.
