Ed Moldavsky joined the Commission’s Legal Division in 2006.  Over the years, he has represented Cal Advocates and the Safety and Enforcement Division in numerous matters, including wildfire litigation and gas safety.  He has also advised Energy Division, represented the Commission in federal and state appellate courts, and taught client counseling and negotiation classes as an Adjunct Professor at UC Law SF.  Prior to joining Commissioner Houck’s Office, Ed was the Acting Assistant General Counsel of the rehearing section in Legal Division.

Ed has a BA from UCLA and a law degree from UC Law SF.  He lives with his wife and two children and enjoys playing piano.
