Syche has worked at the Commission since 2014, as an Administrative Law Judge and as a Senior Analyst in the Energy Division and Consumer Protection and Enforcement Division. She has advised on a range of issues in transportation electrification, utility-scale renewable energy procurement, energy modeling, retail choice policy, wholesale electricity market regulation, and transportation network companies.
 
Prior to joining the Commission, Syche worked with the California Governor’s Office on advancing electric vehicle policy and with the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office in the Environmental Crimes Division.Syche holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Irvine.
