Eamon Nalband

Eamon Nalband joined the CPUC in 2023. Prior to the CPUC, Eamon was at the California Department of Finance where he oversaw the budgets of the Commission, California Energy Commission, Department of Motor Vehicles, California Highway Patrol, the state’s broadband programs and coordinated historic state budget investments in areas of energy, zero-emission vehicles, broadband, and Lithium Valley.

Eamon holds a Master’s in Public Policy from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy and Political Science from the University of Toronto. In his spare time, he enjoys building and riding bikes, playing basketball, and exploring wilderness. Earlier in his professional career, Eamon worked in education and natural foods startups, and as a teacher in the East Bay.
