Belen Diaz-Torres

Belen Diaz-Torres joined the California Public Utilities Commission in January 2020.  She currently serves as Assistant to President Alice Reynolds. 

From January 2020 to December 2021, Belen was Assistant to President Marybel Batjer.  Belen previously worked as Administrative Assistant II to the Secretary of the California Transportation Agency and the Business, Transportation and Housing Agency, where she held several positions since 1997.  She started her career with the State of California in 1994 as an Office Assistant with the California Highway Patrol.  Belen held several positions in the private sector before joining the State of California.
