Karolina Maslanka serves as Energy Advisor to President Reynolds.

Karolina joined the CPUC in 2017. As a Senior Analyst in the Energy Division, she worked on Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) and Transportation Electrification (TE). In her work, Karolina focused on ensuring that generation, distribution, and transmission planning leads to more optimal infrastructure investments and aid in the achievement of GHG reduction goals and zero-emission vehicle regulations.

Prior to the CPUC, Karolina worked as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Panama, a Sustainability Intern for the White House Council on Environmental Quality, and an Energy Efficiency Fellow at the NRDC. Karolina holds a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies and Political Science from the University of Illinois and a Master of Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
