PG&E 2017- 2018 Wildfires: Root Cause Analysis Workshop – required by D.20-05-019
December 5, 2022, 1-5 p.m.
The PG&E Wildfire OII (I.19-06-015) required an independent consultant to conduct a Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of the 2017 and the 2018 fires associated with PG&E’s electrical facilities. The report from the independent consultant, Envista Forensics, includes root cause analysis, findings, and recommendations. The report covers each of the wildfires in the OII. PG&E has issued a response and comments to the Envista report. Decision 20-05-019 requires that a workshop be held after PG&E files its response.
