The California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC), in collaboration with the Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety (OEIS), California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE), and California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), is hosting the Interagency Public Briefing on Safety Culture and Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 as part of its oversight responsibilities under AB 1054 and the ongoing evaluation of PSPS activities.
