Capital Structure

The relative amounts of shareholders equity and debt that comprise a company’s long-range capitalization or, in the case of a utility, its ratebase.  For more on capital structure, see the cost of capital webpage.

(1) Actual capital structures shown are as of December 31, 2024.
(2) Authorized capital structures shown are per D.22-12-031 (decision addressing Test Year 2023 cost of capital).
(3) SCE actual capital structure reported includes the amounts authorized to be excluded from SCE's capital structure calculation related to 2017 and 2018 wildfire and debris flow events per D.20-05-005 and D.23-08-031.
(4) PG&E actual capital structure includes CPUC-approved adjustments described in D.20-12-025 and D.21-04-030.
(5) SDG&E actual capital structure reflects unadjusted capital structure.
