Justin Ong

Justin serves as the Chief of Staff to Commissioner Baker. Prior to his current role, Justin worked on California energy and carbon management policy as the Chief Policy Advisor at the Public Advocates Office and Senior Fellow at the California Natural Resources Agency. Previously, Justin was also a program director at a Washington DC-based nonprofit that supports federal investments into clean energy innovation. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles and a Master of Environmental Management degree from Duke University.
