Have Your Name Added to a Service List for Advice Letters

Advice Letters are public records and utilities are required to give proper notice to customers affected by an Advice Letter.  If a customer is inquiring about an active Advice Letter, a customer can visit the utility's web page and search for the Advice Letter.  In addition, customers can access current Advice Letters on the Water Division FTP web page.  Alternatively, customers can call, mail or email their local utility and request to be placed on the service list for Advice Letters.  Being on the service list requires the utility to send via mail or email current and future Advice Letters to all customers on the service list.  A customer can request to be taken off the service list at any time by contacting the utility in the same manner as being put on the service list.  On or before the date when the utility submits an Advice Letter, the utility will serve the Advice Letter without charge on all persons listed on the Advice Letter service list.
