San Diego Gas and Electric GRC Proceeding (Phase I)
Test Year (TY) 2028 A.26-06-15 Docket
On June 15, 2026, San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) filed its TY 2028 General Rate Case (GRC) Application, A.26-06-015, requesting authority to update its electric and gas revenue requirement on January 1, 2028.
SDG&E requests approval for a total TY 2028 revenue requirement of $3.8 billion, which reflects a revenue increase of $280 million, or an 8.1%, over its authorized 2027 revenue requirement. SDG&E estimates that its request would increase average-use residential electric and gas bills by approximately 8.6%, or $22.48 per month, compared with 2027 rates.
SDG&E also requests an additional $793.3 million in revenue requirement increases for 2029 through 2031.
