Small Business Expos
The CPUC conducts small business expos throughout the state to promote procurement opportunities and educate businesses on important topics such as how to do business with state agency, utility, and other entity. The purpose of the expos is to:
- Help connect small and diverse businesses to utility, government, and other entity procurement specialists.
- Educate small and diverse businesses on the benefits of becoming certified as a small, women, minority, disabled veteran, LGBT, and/or persons with disabilities business.
- Enlighten small and diverse businesses of utilities and other entities' best business practices and “how to get in the door.”
- Inform small and diverse businesses of utility, government, and other entity contract opportunities.
- Provide networking with other business owners.

On April 4th, come join this free event to meet with procurement and supplier diversity representatives and learn of business opportunities and upcoming contracts.
This expo will provide small and diverse businesses opportunities to connect with representatives from utility companies, public agencies, community choice aggregators, prime contractors, resource centers and other businesses. The event is designed with the intent to facilitate networking, education, and exchange of information.
Representatives from firms such as Comcast, Southwest Gas, Liberty Utilities, AT&T, California Water Association, Ava Community Energy Authority, Clean Power Alliance, Central Coast Community Energy, Pioneer Community Energy, CleanPowerSF, and more will be in attendance looking forward to connecting with you.
