Background
This page provides public data from the Transportation Network Company (TNC) Annual Reports, which TNCs are required to submit to the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC) under Commission Decisions D.13-09-045 and D.16-04-041. The current version of the Annual Report data made available below is published pursuant to Decision D.20-03-014.
On September 4, 2025, the CPUC issued Decision D.25-08-035, which addressed the confidentiality claims related to the Annual Reports. Under this decision, TNCs are required to submit public versions of these reports, with specific fields redacted. Redacted fields include driver names and license numbers, vehicle identification numbers (VINs), and certain location information. Additionally, certain date-related data must be aggregated to address privacy concerns. Other types of information have also been ordered to be redacted to protect personally identifiable information (PII) that the Commission has determined should not be publicly disclosed. Updated Information on Public TNC Annual Reports:
Public 2021-2024 Annual Reports – Requirement Suspended
Commission Decision (D.)25-08-035 established requirements for TNCs to submit public versions of their historical Annual Reports. However, Decision (D.)25-10-062 suspended the requirement to submit public 2021-2024 Annual Reports. The CPUC cannot provide an estimate for when this suspension will be lifted; notification will be provided if and when the suspension is lifted. For further details, refer to Ordering Paragraph 2 in D.25-10-062.
Public 2014-2020 Annual Reports – Due by March 31, 2026
Decision (D.)25-10-062 established new deadlines for the public 2014-2020 Annual Reports submissions. Subsequent to this decision, a CPUC Executive Director letter on November 13, 2025, and the Assigned Commissioner Ruling issued on January 8, 2026, extended the submission deadline for all TNCs to March 31, 2026.
