The seminar series provides instruction on planning and implementing broadband internet infrastructure projects. Designed for varying levels of expertise and project readiness, seminars will prepare participants to successfully apply for grants and manage projects.

Who Should Attend

Sessions are designed for the leadership and project teams who will be applying for grants and may include:

  • Local and regional governments
  • Tribal entities
  • Joint powers authorities
  • Community anchor institutions such as schools, hospitals, and libraries
  • New market entrants

What to Expect

Seminars are organized into three phases that build on each other to support applications for funding programs and the necessary steps to implement a funded project. The modules focus on business planning, construction, and operations of a broadband infrastructure project. Sample use cases with budgets and technology components are also included. Additional information is provided about projects in rural and underrepresented communities.
